Someone asked me if there's any way to release a negative emotion by yourself.
My answer to this is to "consume" the emotion.
To consume the emotion doesn't mean to exhaust yourself by creating dramas necessarily.
What I meant by saying "consume" is to feel the emotion thoroughly.
So, if you are sad, feel the sadness 100%.
Be present with yourself and feel how you're feeling.
It can take few minutes to few years or even lifetimes but it's worth it.
That attitude, your attitude towards yourself means a lot to you.
First step is to become aware of your emotions.
Once you got that, please try to "consume" that emotion.
It will stop haunting you again and again.
