I had been wondering about this for some years.
Some people seem to be so certain about their life purposes. When I saw these people, I always felt that I wasn't "good enough". Looking back, the reason that I didn't "feel" my life purpose was that I didn't realise that my life in this human form had an expiry date. We all know that we will eventually depart from this human body, notice the signs of ageing etc. yet, how real is it for you? To me, it wasn't as real as how I am feeling today. It became more realistic to me as I got older for sure. But unless we understand at a deeper level, the meaning of our body having an expiry date, we cannot really be present. Yes, the power of living in the now! Those who really live in the now are the ones who truly understand that their bodies have expiry dates. That's why, each moment shines, right? Many people who have been diagnosed with terminal diseases that allowed them to realise that their bodies have expiry dates. Through this experience, many of them gathered their courage to ignite their life to spark. As a result, many of them surpassed their life expectancy told by their doctors. When that happens, we no longer have moments wondering what our life purposes are. Because we become the life purpose itself. |
