In the tightly knitted city, it was amazingly easy to spot nice cafes with good quality food.
During my short stay in the city, I had two occasions to help myself huge scones. (One at a time.)
And I saw a great number of people having sweet buns, scorns, cakes etc.
Perhaps, people in Oxford think their brain harder, hence sugar is needed....?
My favourite were Vaults & Green and Natural Bread.
The scone in the photograph is from Vaults & Green.
I had another hearty scone at Natural Bread.
I found a more down to earth type of cafe at the Covered Market. But didn't have time to try this time. It will be my next mission!
